Hi Duana! I have gone on two dates with a guy and he smokes cigarettes and I don't. I used to think smokin was a dealbreaker for me, but since he is kind, respectful, and has many other qualities that are more important and that I am also looking for, I am trying to reconsider. What do you think? Do you think this issue qualifies as a dealbreaker? Thank you so much!

Hi Monica,
Thanks for asking. Whether this is a deal-breaker is really up to you. For some people, smoking is a no-go, no matter how many other fantastic qualities a person possesses. For others, while they would strongly prefer a partner who does not smoke, they would accept a smoking partner if the partner was otherwise exactly who they want. What do you think? Ultimately, it's your life, and your opinion, that counts!
Cheers,
Duana
